OUR PRODUCTS

Our Unique Proven Design

Our Unique Proven Design

Our Unique Proven Design

Our unique heat treated flared design on the outlet end of our plugs have proven to be stronger than threaded end caps through rigorous testing. This design also promotes better flow of material.

Safety Brackets

Our Unique Proven Design

Our Unique Proven Design

A safety bracket ensures stable deployment by securely anchoring the plug to rock with a chain or cable. They help prevent unintended movement during construction or drilling. This minimizes the risk of unplanned releases, enhancing operational safety and maintaining the plug's effectiveness in sealing boreholes or drill holes

Ball Valves

Our Unique Proven Design

Ball Valves

The ball valve on a Margo grout plug not only regulates grout flow during construction but also plays a crucial role in stopping water infiltration. By controlling the valve's position, engineers can effectively seal off water ingress, enhancing the plug's utility in applications where preventing water flow is essential, such as in underground construction or tunneling projects

Packaging

Our Unique Proven Design

Ball Valves

We ship all of our plugs in packaging bundles of 80lbs or less for ease of loading/unloading. All threads and bushings are protected to ensure the plugs are ready to perform.

All packages are individually marked with plug size and length for easy reference on the jobsite.

Fast turnaround times to keep your project moving and on time.

24 hour shipping on all stocked items. International shipping.

Polyurethane Bushings

Polyurethane bushings are considered superior to rubber bushings in construction applications due to their specific characteristics and performance attributes. Here are some reasons why polyurethane bushings are preferred over rubber bushings for a grout plug:

  1. Abrasion Resistance: Polyurethane is known for its excellent abrasion resistance. In applications where the grout plug is subjected to wear and friction, polyurethane bushings are less likely to wear out quickly compared to rubber.
  2. Durability: Polyurethane typically has superior durability and can withstand repeated compressive forces, making it suitable for applications where the bushings are exposed to high-stress conditions during grouting processes.
  3. Load-Bearing Capacity: Polyurethane often has higher load-bearing capacity than rubber. If the grout plug experiences heavy loads or pressure during operation, polyurethane bushings may provide better support and longevity.
  4. Chemical Resistance: Polyurethane is generally more resistant to oils, chemicals, and solvents compared to rubber. This is important in grouting applications where the plug may come into contact with various chemicals used in the grout mixture.
  5. Tolerance to Temperature Extremes: Polyurethane can maintain its mechanical properties across a broader temperature range compared to rubber. If the grout plug is exposed to extreme temperatures during its use, polyurethane bushings may offer better performance.
  6. Dimensional Stability: Polyurethane can be molded with high precision and tight tolerances, ensuring that the bushings maintain their shape and dimensions even under stress. This dimensional stability is crucial for the proper functioning of the grout plug.
  7. Customization: Polyurethane formulations can be customized to meet specific requirements, allowing for the development of bushings with tailored properties. This flexibility in formulation enables engineers to design bushings that precisely match the needs of the grouting application.
  8. Reduced Compression Set: Polyurethane tends to have a lower compression set compared to rubber. This means that polyurethane bushings are less likely to deform and lose their original shape over time, ensuring consistent performance.
